Duryodhana turned the palace built for the Pandavas into a deadly trap, he made the materials into easily burnable oil-soaked pieces and resin so he could burn them alive. Vidura, Dhitarashtra's brother warned his nephews to beware, they secretly built tunnels to provide safe escape. The palace was burned and they escaped, but Purochana died in the flames and their bodies were discovered, Duryodhana thought this was the Pandavas and their mother so he was delighted. They planned to hide in the forrest as Brahmans to keep quiet and safe. The Pandavas meet a Gandharva, he Angaraparna was saved by them and said to them to find a priest and a wife and be the kings they were born to be. \

There were kings and princes entering a stadium to try and compete for Draupadi, king Drupada's fireborn daughter. The archer had to shoot by looking in a reflection, Karna tried and they tried to send him away, they said he was not the king that he claimed to be and so they told him to leave.

Krishna recognized the Pandavas despite their disguises, Blarama was pleased they did not die in the fire. They were sure they could pass this test, Arjuna approached the target and they claimed brahmins were not allowed. He shot five arrows and hit the target every time. They had to share her five ways since they must share their findings of the day. This was her fate because of a past life, the gods grant her wish now.

Shiva appeared and answered Draupadi's past life prayer of having a husband who is truthful, strong, powerful, skilled, and fearless," but since men cannot have all these qualities she would have to have five instead. She agreed she'd spend a year with each brother. Now they were allied by marriage, which worried people. The rishi told the pandavas the story of two brothers who fought over the girl and killed each other. She would walk through fire and regain her virginity each year and they had 5 kids one with each. Arjuna had to go into self exile, they had to leave a pair of shoes in front of the door so the brothers knew when they were with their wife.

Arjuna met a beautiful woman and they had a son together, but he forgot about her and didn't know of the son. Subhadra ran away with Arjuna since he was arranged to be married with another woman, so they eloped together. Gambling match took everything from Dushasana, he claimed Draupadi for his slave, but she said that she would not give herself to him. She lashed out at him, they called her a whore and tried to take her clothes off. She prayed and the gods gave her many saris to wear so they couldn't take it off.

She got three wishes, but only had 2, so he restored all she had lost to her. The pandavas had to go into exile because of their inability to say no to gambling. Arjuna was cursed to be an eunuch but that worked out perfectly since he had to exile for a year anyway, and that's how long the curse lasted.
